Michael Mitchell
Music Director
Michael Mitchell holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree with a minor in music from Texas Tech University and has worked in area churches for more than 35 years. In the Fall of 2016 he was appointed Organist/Choirmaster at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. Michael is passionate about classical organ music, theatre organ music of the early 20th century and English church music.
At St. Andrew’s he is responsible for preparing and directing the Chancel Choir and its presentation of worship at approximately 50 worship services each year. He also serves as the organist for all worship services, playing opus number 1041 by Aeolian-Skinner.
