For those of you who may not know me, my name is Mark Sundre. I am a retired public school principal. I have been an Episcopalian for most of my sixty-one years. The only years that I was not in attendance was while I was in college…when I probably needed it the most. When Jennifer and I and our two sons lived in Odessa (19 years) I was quite involved in a couple ministries on Sunday mornings at St. Barnabas’ Episcopal Church. While there I served two vestry terms and one term as a trustee for St. John’s Episcopal School. I also had the honor of serving as a member of one discernment committee and served as a trainer for our acolytes. I am pleased to have been invited to run for delegate to the diocesan convention. If elected it would be my hope that my representation of St. Andrew’s adds value to the overall convention experience.
