CATECHESIS OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD
We are including this course as an adult offering in Christian Formation to address the demand for a class with less demands than the 4 year E.F.M. curriculum.
The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a Christian Formation program for children 3 - 12 years of age in which a trained adult helps awaken children to their personal response to God. It seeks to create and facilitate a sacred, "hands-on" space for children called an atrium in which both the children and the adult catechists can hear, ponder, and celebrate the most essential mysteries of the Christian faith as revealed in the Scriptures and Liturgy.
Kay Brizzolara, the formation leader, has been involved in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for thirteen years. Trained in all three levels of the catechesis program, she is certified by the National Association of the Catechesis Of The Good Shepherd to lead adult formations.

The season of Lent offers us a special time for thought, reflection and self examination. The Lenten Series strives to bring us closer to the deeper meaning of sacrifice and thanksgiving through thoughtful lectures and presentations.
Every year the series is different, but every year we are moved toward a more profound relationship to God in our search for meaning as we explore the subject matter set before us in The Lenten Series.
